Instruccions
Shell: start with magic ring
- sc6 (c1) into magic ring, pull magic ring, sl1 (attach c2) to join (6)
- sc2 (c2 into each sc around, sl1 to join (12)
- ch2 (c2), dc1 (c2) into first sc, *dc2 (c1) into next dc2 (c2) into next sc*, repeat from *to* 5 times, dc2 (c1) into last sc, sl1 (c2) to join (24)
- sc1 (c2) into the front loop of each dc around, sl1 (c2) to join and tie off (24)
Body: with the right side of the work facing you, work c1 into the back loops of the dc shell row around.
- sl1 into the first back loop stich
- tail: ch4, sc1 into the second ch from the hook, sc1 into the next 2 ch stitches
- sl1 into next 3 back loop stitches
- Back fin: ch5, sc1 into the second ch from the hook, sc1 into the next ch stitch, dc1 into next 2 ch stitches
- skip one back loop stitch, sl1 into next 5 back loop stitches
- fornt fin: ch7, sc1 into the second ch from the hook, dc1 into next 3 ch stitches, sc1 into next 2 ch stitches
- sl1 into next back loop stitch
- sl1 into next 2 back loop stitches
- Rrepeat front fin
- sl1 into next 5 back loop stitches
- Repeat back fin
- skip one back loop stitch, sl1 into next 3 back loop stitches, sl1 to join and tie off c1
Attach your apliqué by sewing just inside the edge of the shell. When you have about a half inch left to sew stuff a small ball of fiberfill (or equal) into the shell to puff it up. Then continue sewing to close up the hole.
